The How To… Franchise

I came up with this digital series in an effort to add some light sarcastic humor to some of the rowdiest scenes from VH1 reality shows. Working with a designer, I commissioned a logo for the franchise, and with a video editor’s help, pulled together the proper moments. I then wrote witty blurbs to truly editorialize the videos.

Family-friendly compilations

To reach a broader audience (read: younger), I wanted to highlight some of VH1’s younger talent. I produced this video at a pivotal time when this young lady became an unfortunate bystander topic of gossip blogs.

Recaps

The idea of doing recaps of previous seasons of VH1 shows came about as we were trying to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. I wanted to take a stab at creating a longer video narrative for YouTube, and so I created this format that stays true to the narrative of each storyline and how they’re connected over seasons. I personally produced the examples below, plus a handful more.
